Webdesign

Webdesign is the art and science of creating appealing and functional websites that optimize user experience and support business goals. A team of experienced designers and developers follows a holistic approach that considers both aesthetic and technical aspects. Webdesign is more than just arranging images and text on a page. It's about creating a seamless user experience that encourages visitors to stay, interact and ultimately convert on your website. By using modern design principles such as responsive design and intuitive navigation, we ensure that your website is optimally displayed on all devices and platforms.

The importance of webdesign in a software company cannot be underestimated. As a company dedicated to developing high-quality software solutions, we understand that the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are critical to the success of an application. A well-designed user interface can make the difference between a successful software and one that users avoid.

By integrating proven design practices into our software development processes, we ensure that every application created is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Designers work closely with developers to ensure that the design not only looks good but also functions smoothly and delivers the desired results. An ideal webdesign solution is tailored perfectly to the needs and goals of the clients. Whether you're creating a new website, redesigning an existing one, or developing a user-friendly interface for your software.

User Experience (UX)

UX extends the concept of usability. Here, the user perspective is emphasized and emotional and aesthetic factors are more strongly included. UX describes the perception and reaction of a person resulting from the actual and/or expected use of a product, system or service. UX is not only about the mere achievement of a goal, but rather about the experiences that users have before, during and after using the product.

UX manages to arouse emotions in users. For this reason, the UX is a decisive factor in whether users associate positive feelings such as fun and joy with the product and whether they would like to use the product again in the future. The success of a digital product is therefore strongly linked to the implementation of a holistic UX.

User Interface (UI)

User interface is the term used to describe the user interface at which a person interacts with a computer, machine or work device. The term is also often abbreviated as UI. UI is often mentioned in connection with User Experience (UX). However, it should be noted that UX is primarily concerned with the user's experience in the application. The UI, on the other hand, describes the visual component by which the user operates the application.

With the help of the UI, users can commumnicate with the computer and, for example, enter commands or information. A distinction can be made between different types of UI. There is the well-known GUI, i.e. the graphical UI. As mentioned before, these are visual interfaces that can be operated using a mouse or keyboard. TUI describe text UI that are only controlled with the keyboard. In addition, there is the VUI, voice UI. This gives the possibility to give commands to the computer by speech. This voice control could make it easier for visually impaired people to use computer applications. For experienced users there is also the possibility to communicate through the CLI, Command Line Interface.

We work in one of the hotspots of Hamburg

One of the company headquarters of let's dev GmbH & Co. KG is located in the multicultural Hamburg Schanzenviertel. Until 2008, today's trendy neighborhood was part of the districts of Altona, Mitte and Eimsbüttel and only then became an independent district of Hamburg.

In the heart of the Schanzenviertel are Schulterblatt, Schanzenstraße as well as Sternschanzenpark with water tower. Especially in the summer months the park invites to jogging, barbecue and lingering. The Schanzenviertel is characterized by many individually designed boutiques, cafés and pubs and is a popular meeting place for young locals in particular. The Schanze, as it is called by the Hamburgers is also less touristy than other hotspots such as the area around the the Reeperbahn in the St. Pauli district.
