Founded in 1948, Tadano Ltd. is now an internationally positioned group of companies that specializes in the development and production of hydraulic mobile cranes and hoists as one of the world's largest manufacturers of hydraulic cranes. The main production takes place at 5 locations in Japan, America and Germany. In Germany, the company is mainly represented by its wholly owned subsidiary Faun GmbH. Since 2019 the traditional brand Demag from Rhineland-Palatinate has also been part of the Tadano Group.
In the Tadano app, sales and marketing employees can access all product information with the iPhone or iPad easily. The app can be used in different modes. On the one hand, public access is available, which allows non-confidential documents to be viewed. On the other hand, users can log in to access a protected area. In both cases, users can choose from a range of different functionalities.
In a Cranes Expert section, users can access the complete product portfolio of cranes. The main groups of products such as All Terrain Cranes, City Cranes or Lattice Crawler Cane form the starting point. By swiping, sales staff or prospective customers can quickly and easily search for the crane group they are looking for. Many of the products contain additional product versions that can be identified and selected via the unique identification number. This takes the users directly to the desired model with just a few clicks. In addition: the product selection and all associated product information offline available. This means that even locations with poor network coverage do not represent a restriction in use.
In the product area you will find all available information of the currently selected crane. In addition to a wide range of digital brochures, data sheets and price lists, presentations, images and videos can also be accessed and downloaded. In contrast to the previously used print documents, the up-to-dateness of the available information can be ensured at all times through central management.
