Are you already in the Christmas spirit or still in the Christmas rush? The stores in the city centers may open again, but this
time it is not the lack of customers that is worrying the companies, but the lack of goods. The shortage of important resources
for toys and electronics are factors that can be shown by delivery problems. The Christmas rush is not completely absent here.
At the same time, more and more people are ordering online and for this year, almost 112 billion euros are expected to be spent
on Christmas gifts in retail stores in the coming weeks.
For us, of course, the areas where software can offer companies support are exciting. How can workflows be structured and
coordinated in such a way that they still work reliably, cost-effectively and efficiently at the same time?
A small excerpt of selected projects: Our "Kortpress" product really took off this year. With the latest
technology, an intuitive
web interface and simple interfaces, small clubs and large companies digitize membership cards, loyalty cards and coupons. They
reach their members and visitors directly on their smartphones and inform them about news and discounts.
Our customer ORTOVOX enables a safe mountain experience and with the new series of avalanche transceivers
DIRACT and DIRACT Voice
has launched two products that were awarded "Product of the Year" by ISPO. With the matching app including clear instructions,
configuration options and the possibility to perform software updates, we have done our part. With the app "Lisa Test" for our
customer Rutronik and operator of several rapid test centers, COVID-19 appointments and test results can be planned, managed and
recorded. With the reopening of bars and restaurants, our customer Jack Daniel's provided a bit of variety with a scavenger hunt
and cool competitions, delicious drink recipes as well as exciting challenges with the "Make It Count" app we developed.
We successfully expanded our consulting business: Our customers benefited in particular from our expertise in cloud applications
and their hosting by leading providers. Our experts for user interface, user experience design, and usability engineering were
in particularly high demand from the financial sector and public-sector clients.
We ensure our innovative strength through exciting research projects: This year, three projects with different focuses started at
once. The RÜCKENWIND project addresses the current
challenges in the wind energy sector in Germany of B2B platform development,
validation and piloting. FertiRob pursues the development of
solutions for automated manufacturing and assembly of stacks and
electrolyzers for hydrogen production. FertiRob is part of the Scale-up subproject of the lead project H2Giga and is funded by
BMBF. The other subprojects of H2Giga are Next Generation Scale-up and the Innovation Pool. The easy-well project aims to
provide access to information on the topic of "mental health promotion" through a platform. The project is funded by the German
Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as part of the Innovation Program for Business Models and Pioneer Solutions
(IGP).
With Christmas treats and the sound of the ultimate Christmas hits from the Spotify playlist, we get in the mood for Christmas in
the office. Even though most of our colleagues work from home, we are looking forward to organizing the next office brunch
together again. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have actively supported us with their power from
home in the implementation of projects. The same applies, of course, to all employees who are already present in the office and
have pushed forward important tasks and developments!
