The participating partners from research and industry used the appointment for a joint
exchange between different work packages and for the further development of the
demonstrator. In several workshops, the current status as well as the upcoming tasks
were discussed and subsequently the results were presented to the entire consortium. The
two days were also used to summarize the latest findings for the international project
consortium and to initiate the next steps for successful project completion.

tour of the grounds of the Alter Schlachthof creative park was on the agenda. This gave

Research project to optimize energy consumption in industry
As part of the SPEAR (Smart Prognosis of Energy with Allocation of Resources) research
project, a flexible optimization platform is being developed as a web-based cloud, which
will make it possible to improve the energy consumption of industrial production
processes. In addition to the energy optimization of production processes, production
lines and buildings, already in the development phase, the optimization of existing
plants is also a focus of the project.
The project is part of the cluster program of the European research initiative EUREKA.
ITEA 3 aims to strengthen the European position in the field of embedded
software-intensive systems and to bundle the potentials in industry and research from
the participating countries. The program also supports the projects that support
Europe's position in worldwide standardization in the field of software-intensive

let's dev develops web-based cloud application
let's dev as a service provider for custom software, is head of the work package of
the optimization platform and responsible for the development of the web-based cloud
application. As a partner for product development, user experience design, as well as
web, backend and cloud development, we were able to make optimal use of our core
competencies here. In the process, the optimization platform creates an application
tailored to the user, which also meets the many technical and functional requirements
and uses the latest technologies.
