Anyone wishing to learn more about the history of Rosenheim can visit the Municipal Museum, housed in the Mittertor since 1885. The museum contains an extensive collection on the cultural history of the city and the district of Rosenheim, ranging from prehistory and early history to the Roman era and into the 20th century.
