UX experts are in demand like never before

Since agencies and companies have recognized the relevance of user experience for the success of their software, more and more experienced user experience designers are being sought. In the meantime, there are also a variety of different training opportunities for aspiring UX designers. One option is to study media informatics or digital media. Internships are often included in the curriculum of practice-oriented degree programs. A UX design internship should serve to gain initial project experience and to be able to apply learned UX methodologies in practice. Knowhow from the studies can be deepened and extended during the internship. The insights gained into everyday working life may also open up new career prospects after the UX design internship.

At least six to eight weeks should be planned for the UX design internship. It is even better to complete half a year at once in order to gain even more experience. As a rule, interns then have a standard working time of 40 hours per week. Some companies also offer flextime or the option of working from a home office.
