ORTOVOX stands for the highest possible protection on the mountain - since 1980. Emergency equipment, backpacks and technical clothing with wool as well as targeted training measures with a network of experts are intended to contribute daily to making mountain sports safer and saving human lives. ORTOVOX sees itself as a brand for mountaineers and offers year-round products for ski touring, freeriding, alpine climbing and mountaineering.
The ORTOVOX app finds avalanche transceivers in the vicinity and establishes a connection to them. The necessary data is read out and and safety-relevant updates are displayed. The device configuration via app enables the adjustment of the avalanche transceiver to personal and individual settings.
With the ORTOVOX app, you can set up individual setting options and configuration of the DIRACT and DIRACT VOICE devices. This includes, among other things, the device language, the voice navigation, the avalanche switchover or the display contrast.
The ORTOVOX app automatically informs you about important safety and software updates, which always keep the avalanche transceiver up to date. The updates can be carried out for individual devices and conveniently in fleet mode for several devices.
