The Hamburg-based company tigermedia specializes in the development of child-friendly media for the age group between two and twelve years. The product range includes software for interactive books, audio books and e-books as well as hardware such as the portable speaker tigerbox or a tablet specially designed for children's use, the tigertab.
With the in-house music and audio book app tigertones, children now have access to a library of over 3,000 available titles in an age-appropriate environment. The user interface is not only uncomplicated to use, but also really fun for the youngest ones.
Interested parents can download the tigertones app free of charge and get an impression of what is on offer even without registering first. Those who then take out a premium subscription can not only listen to all available tracks, but also download and save them.
In the start area, children can browse extensively for new favorite titles. Numerous categories and subject areas make it easy to find relevant titles.
For each title offered, children and parents will find detailed information on categories and content as well as an age recommendation. In addition, the offerings can be filtered for different children via individual profiles. In this way, each young listener receives only the content that is suitable for his or her age group.
Suitable titles can be saved using the notepad function and are stored in the child's personal "My" area. There they can be retrieved quickly and easily at any time.
In the player, the heart of the application, the selected titles can be played. It folds in and moves along when the user continues browsing the app. A sleep timer also offers the option of setting a specific playback stop according to chapter or desired time. If other devices like speakers or headphones are available, they can be paired with the current player via an active Bluetooth connection.
