Gruner + Jahr is one of the biggest publishers of premium magazines in Europe and publishes around 500 print and digital products a year, including well-known brands such as Stern, GEO and Brigitte, as well as young titles such as Beef and Flow. Designed especially for women, Flow magazine deals with positive thinking for a mindful life and offers an innovative magazine concept with a loving design.
As a concept extension and for customer loyalty, the digital product line from Gruner+Jahr was to be expanded to include the Flow annual calendar app. The app contains quotes, tips and inspiration for every day of the year, accompanied by lovingly designed illustrations. The drawings are made each year by a different artist especially for the Flow calendar app. The app is available for 2,29 euros in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Each saying can also be saved to an individual favorites list, so favorite quotes can be found again quickly. Personal favorites can also be easily shared with friends and family via Facebook, iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram or Twitter. iOS users automatically receive a selection of illustrated Flow stickers on their iPhone when they purchase the Flow calendar app. The stickers can be sent via iMessage.
