Elektror airsystems gmbh is a leading international manufacturer in the field of complex ventilation solutions, in particular industrial fans and side channel blowers. Due to the comprehensive application possibilities of air technology, the company is represented in almost all branches of industry as well as in the manufacturing sector.
With the Smart Air App, we are making life easier for engineers: Until now, the calculation of ventilation-related key figures such as pressure drop, air velocity and power demand was carried out using a slide rule. All the required values had to be calculated individually and very laboriously. The intelligent app is designed to completely replace the previous slide rule.
After entering the pipe diameter/square side and pipe length, the calculation can be triggered by specifying the material and the desired volume flow.
Individual resistors that have an influence on the air flow in pipes can also be selected. These include fittings (pipe, segment and rectangular bends) and transitions (extensions, constrictions, outlets, pipe starts and tees). Errors are avoided thanks to the intelligent filling aid.
An individual name can be stored for all calculations to save them for later in the app. These can be viewed and edited at any time in the "My calculations" area. Sending calculations via e-mail has also been integrated into the Smart Air app. The application is offline-capable and can be used without an Internet connection..
