RRC power solutions GmbH is a multinational company specializing in the development of power supply solutions, based in Saarland, Germany, with subsidiaries in the USA, Hong Kong and China. RRC has already received many awards including "Innovator of the Year 2018" from the trade magazine Design & Elektronik, setting new standards in the market as a leading manufacturer of batteries and battery chargers in demanding industries.
On the occasion of the relaunch of the corporate website, the product presentations were reworked. Customers can now view the battery packs realistically as 3D models. A 3D viewer with animation and interaction options was implemented for this purpose. JavaScript, CSS and WebGL were used in the development.
In addition to optimization for cross-browser use on the desktop PC, compatibility for mobile browsers and a fallback for weaker devices were also implemented.
