Greater understanding of user experience through UX-KA
With the launch of UX-KA,
the Karlsruhe region has gained a
central platform that makes user experience visible and brings together people who are
passionate about good digital design. Under the UX-KA umbrella, free meetups and events
have been held regularly ever since, where designers, students, and other interested
individuals can delve into current topics together. These range from the psychological
aspects of good UX to the differences between consumer and enterprise UX.
What began as an idea to strengthen the local community has quickly evolved into a
vibrant exchange format that imparts knowledge, makes job profiles more transparent, and
opens up new perspectives. UX-KA is therefore not just an event series, but a growing
meeting place for everyone who wants to actively shape the UX scene in Karlsruhe.

Strengthen partnerships with Kortpress
The last few months have been a real growth spurt for
Kortpress.
More and more companies, brands, and associations are relying on
our solution to fully digitize membership cards, tickets, stamp cards, coupons, and many
other card types. Whether for Apple or Google Wallet. We are particularly proud that
numerous associations now use Kortpress, and we are listed there not only as a software
partner but also as a sponsor. This trust from the community shows us just how relevant
digital solutions have become today.
Internationally, Kortpress has also continued to gain momentum: New customers from
Europe, Asia, and the USA are relying on our platform to offer attractive, secure, and
flexible digital wallet experiences. From major brands like NIVEA to innovative projects
like digital loyalty cards for Brown-Forman, Kortpress demonstrates just how versatile
and scalable modern card solutions can be.
We have big plans for the coming year: new features, a redesigned web interface, and an

Rainmesh
Rainmesh, the
digital rainwater management system for BIRCO GmbH, impressively demonstrates how smart
technologies can support sustainable infrastructure. The system combines weather and
sensor data to create an intelligent control system that monitors cistern levels,
automates irrigation processes, and uses resources efficiently. Users gain complete
transparency and control over their systems via a modern app and a user-friendly web
dashboard. Rainmesh exemplifies the combination of technical expertise, sophisticated UX
design, and a clear focus on ecological benefits. This innovative project, implemented
in collaboration with let's dev, is actively shaping the future of water management.
WEPTECH
For WEPTECH elektronik, we developed an innovative NFC configurator
that makes setting up and configuring IoT devices easier than ever before. Instead of
complex setup processes, the mobile app enables fast, wireless device configuration via
Near Field Communication – securely, intuitively, and directly on-site. The configurator
guides users through all relevant steps, supports various hardware types, and ensures
maximum usability thanks to clear UI and UX structures. With this solution, we create a
modern, practical interface between people and devices. This sustainably simplifies
production and installation processes using digital tools.
PILZ
In a project for an international technology client, we spent the last few months
developing an AR-based app for the detection and
placement of radar sensors, significantly simplifying complex
installation processes. Using state-of-the-art computer vision technologies, the
application recognizes structural conditions in real time and assists users in optimally
positioning sensors, including a visual preview, automatic distance detection, and
precise orientation information. The combination of augmented reality, intuitive UX
design, and robust technical features makes the app a powerful tool for planning,
installation, and quality assurance. In this way, let's dev has created a digital
solution that increases efficiency while simultaneously facilitating access to modern
sensor technology.
